2016-2017
This year we will be working on both video and still photography and have changed our name to Pueo Productions. With help from Mark Hymas (Maui District - digital808storytellers.com), teachers from Pu'u Kukui and our student mentors from Baldwin High School (Tricia Roy - advisor) we'll be learning how to create, edit and share videos and still images.
2015-2016
This year we split the groups into a video/photography service club and 2 broadcast teams. Our two broadcast teams continued with our morning closed circuit broadcast and our video/photography group focused on creating videos about our campus plants. We were fortunate to have assistance again this year from Mark Hymas (Maui District - digital808storytellers.com).
2014-2015
We began our video/broadcast service club in 2014. Members interested in participating filled out an application and indicated which jobs they'd like to perform. Once selected we began meeting. Students in this club were responsible for our daily morning broadcast (through closed-circuit). So we met daily for our morning jobs and we also met on Tuesdays after school to learn about creating videos. Thanks to Mark Hymas (Maui District - digital808storytellers.com) and Jason Hubbard (Pu'u Kukui Elementary) we learned learning a lot about how to make videos. Mrs. Yoshizu (Pu'u Kukui Librarian) and Mrs. Tisdell (Pu'u Kukui Tech Coordinator), and Mrs. Heyd (Maui District Title 1 Linker) also worked with us. In 2014 we had special help from the Baldwin High School Video Club and their advisor Mrs. Roy.
